Welcome to the Ysgol Cae'r Nant Bulletin. ​What an incredible year we have had with ​lots of lovely memories and fun learning. ​We hope you all have a wonderful ​summer holiday and we can’t wait to see ​you in September.

We wish our Year 6 leavers luck with their ​new adventures in high school next year.

We are looking for a Midday Supervisory Assistant (MDSA) to come ​and join our team in September.

The role is for 1 hour (12-1), Monday to Friday, term time only.

If you are interested in this position please come and get more ​information from the school office.

Swimming Gala

Our swimming team did an amazing job competing in the Connah’s Quay ​Swimming Gala, they all received medals for their effort.

Sports Days & Coleg Cambria

We had a very sporty couple of weeks with Year 3-6 taking part in track events at ​Coleg Cambria. We then had 5 amazing sports days at school. The children were ​wonderful at competing and supporting each other.

Xplore trip Year ​3&4

Our Year 3 & 4 learners had a ​brilliant two days in Xplore. They ​had so much fun being ​scientists for the day!

Robotics Competition

Our Digi Champs went to Conwy to take part in the Technocamp Lego Robotics Competition. They ​competed against schools across North Wales. They designed, built and coded an amazing ​wheelchair robot that could support a Paralympic athlete and came 2nd place in the Live ​Challenges.

Year 6 Leavers

Year 6 performed, “I’m Not A God...Yet!” for their leavers concert, what a fantastic experience. ​There were lots of smiles and dancing! They were amazing and we are so proud of them.

Cymraeg Campus Bronze award

WE DID IT!! We are very proud to announce that we have received our ​Cymraeg Campus Bronze Award. It was a whole school ​effort....Llongyfarchiadau pawb!

Getting Musical

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 had ​an amazing time at their music ​workshop with the Benedetti ​Foundation.

Watch this space...next year’s ​Year 4 will be making percussion ​instruments with Colin at Wepre ​Park.
